Donald Trump makes 9/11 tribute but mixes up wrong date

Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump is at it again with the crazy comments. This time he mixes up an important date in history with the name of a convenience store.

According to CNN, at a rally in Buffalo,NY, Trump showed his advocacy for New York City calling the attacks 7/11 instead of 9/11.

The New York native made remarks about the event stating, “Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down. And I saw the greatest people I’ve  ever seen in action.”

Trump did not correct himself.

Although the presidential candidate mixed up months of July and September, the terrorist attacks in 2001 have been a central theme in Trump’s presidential campaign. Calling the attacks as defining New York’s value.

Trump’s spokeswoman Katrina Pierson defended the candidate saying that “people misspeak all the time.”
