Metro Always Seems To Stop Short, But May Be Fixed Soon

According to the L.A. Times, the Metro could expand subway service to the downtown L.A. Arts District. This could be a stepping point for the Metro system that always seems to come just a little bit short. Possible sites for Santa Fe Avenue stations

Similarly, the Gold Line, which should be completed in fewer than 200 days, hopes to expand to an area that desperately needs the Metro that is just out of reach.

For the extension into the Arts District, both the Red and Purple lines will get expanded at a potential cost of $90 million … but it will not be done for about a decade.

As slowly as the Metro crawls through Los Angeles, it seems to be making slow progress as well.
