As many Americans continue to file their taxes and impatiently wait for their tax return money, the IRS is rehiring hundreds of employees who had audits or botched their own tax returns in the previous years. The IRS has rehired 141 former employees that lied on their tax filing.

According to Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George, the agency rehired five employees who they knew intentionally did not file their taxes within the last two years. Another employee took eight weeks of unauthorized vacation time, yet continues to work for the agency.

No longer stress about filing your taxes incorrectly, instead worry if those filing your taxes will file at all.
